I am a licensed clinical social worker with 14 years of experience in social worker, specializing in helping clients manage depression, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. My approach is rooted in creating a supportive and safe space where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings. I use evidence-based techniques, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, to guide you in understanding challenges, building resilience, and developing tools to move forward. My goal is to work alongside you as you navigate difficult emotions, discover your strengths, and create positive, lasting change.
In our first session together, we will dive into what brought you to therapy in the first place. This way, I am able to develop a treatment plan and set realistic, individualized goals.
My greatest strength is my compassion and ability to help others when other may be facing challenges in their every day lives.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy to empower clients by helping them understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Throughout my 14 years of being a therapist I have used CBT to address a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress and trauma.
My seven years of hospice social work experience has provided me with extensive exposure to grief therapy, including supporting individuals and families through the emotional, physical and spiritual challenges of loss. By integrating my social work expertise with grief therapy principals, I can help clients navigate the complex emotions of loss, develop coping strategies and rebuild their sense of purpose.
I have used motivational interviewing to support clients facing significant challenges, such as managing chronic illness, coping with grief or navigating life transitions. By creating a supportive and collaborative space, I have worked with clients to explore their hesitations about change and uncover what truly motivates them.
