Greetings all! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (Go Badgers!), with an emphasis in direct mental health. I have actively been practicing for 5 years. I greatly value providing you with an authentic and judgement free experience. We will work collaboratively towards what you want in life, which often means moving through what one historically avoids.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, expect open conversations. Discussions of, what brings you to therapy, previous engagement in therapy, goals, aspirations and most importantly, determining if we are even a good fit! This is a collaborate effort, so ensuring that I'm able to met your needs is very important to me.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider is simple, yet crucial in the therapeutic relationship. Meeting clients where they are at. I lead each session and common interactions with this notion. I find that this mindset allows me to truly hold space with with my clients in the most authentic and genuine manner.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Assisting clients to develop coping skills. Which in turn, enhances clients ability to manage their day to day life.

Trauma Informed Care

Truly meeting clients where they are at is the focal point of how I view trauma informed care. Fostering a safe, welcoming and non-threatening environment is my top priority when in sessions.

Psychoeducation

Knowledge is power. Assisting clients with a better and greater understanding of their diagnosis is power. This allows clients the ability to have increase awareness of their symptoms, which in turn, minimizes the risk of crisis.
