My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I work with clients to identify their specific challenges or concerns, and help them recognize how to shift and gain control over their thoughts that significantly impacts your mood/ emotions and behaviors. As you make progress you will develop coping skills that will assist with mood improvement fostering resilience with a more positive outlook on life.

Couples Counseling

I work with couples to improve their overall functioning within their relationship. Typically couples need support in areas that might include; improving their communication, establishing healthy boundaries, healing from infidelity, and parenting support. In partnership, we will work together to identify goals and work towards a healthier relationship.

Reality Therapy

Using this therapeutic approach I assist clients with understanding and accountability of their choices and decisions, emphasizing the importance of being mindful and focusing on the present. I assist the client with goal setting, improving functioning within interpersonal relationships and conflict resolution skills.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I work with clients briefly with a goal oriented approach to finding resolutions to current and future concerns rather than focusing on any past experiences.
