Hello, I have been a Counselor for 15 years and I love my work. I grew up loving working with animals, competing in sports, reading everything, and having a great curiosity for how nature and people worked. I have been blessed with many wonderful and loving people in my life; and know how much it means to experience kind and helpful people in hard times. I provide an organized and easy to follow process using EMDR to address the difficulties my clients are facing and help them achieve the outcomes they are looking for. I strive to be a calm and accepting presence to my clients as they tackle some of the biggest challenges in their life. I value so much the effort they are making and the how meaningful achieving their goals are to them and their loved ones; and do my very best to be an expert helped in their journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first meeting, I will introduce myself and explain how therapy process works. Then I will lead you through allowing me to get to know you and what your looking to get out of therapy. We then begin to explore that area of your life more deeply. EMDR is all about finding the formative experiences in your life that we can set up as "Targets" to reprocess and allow you to feel and respond in the present moment in the ways you want.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a lot of time and success stories in using EMDR. I am a calm and accepting person; I will never blame you, scold you, or think you are unworthy. It is very easy for me to accept people and be curious about why people are having a hard time.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I was trained in EMDR after being a therapist for 10 years; and it revolutionized my ability to help my clients heal. I saw them healing faster and more deeply. At the root of so many of our struggles are experiences from our past; and I use EMDR to go back and find those experiences and how it impacted my client; and help reprocess the meaning and effects it is having on them.
