New to Grow
I am a licesned Marital and Family Therapist. I help people carrying anxiety, grief, or challenges in relationships find relief, heal from difficult experiences, and move forward with confidence. I provide trauma-informed counseling for youth and adults, using practical, evidence-based approaches to calm the nervous system, process past pain, and build lasting coping skills. Clients describe me as compassionate and warm, while also offering structure and a clear path forward. Reaching out can feel like a big step, but it can also be the start of real change—and I’d be honored to support you along the way.
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your experiences, your goals, and any challenges you’re facing, while making sure you feel comfortable and heard. Together, we’ll start identifying practical ways to cope with stress, process difficult emotions, and take the first steps toward the changes you want to see. This session is a chance for you to get a feel for how we might work together and ask any questions you have about therapy.
I’m often told that I have a strong balance of being clear and educational while staying compassionate and understanding. I create a safe space where clients can express hurt and feel validated, while also helping them make sense of their experiences and build practical plans together. My approach is collaborative, guiding clients toward clarity, coping skills, and meaningful growth while honoring their unique journey.
I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by anxiety, grief, or relationship challenges. I focus on helping you understand your feelings, build practical coping skills, and find a path forward that feels manageable and meaningful. I provide a warm, supportive space for both youth and adults, while also offering guidance to help you feel confident and empowered as you navigate life’s challenges.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress in healthy ways. My approach focuses on teaching practical skills like mindfulness, emotion regulation, and effective communication, all while creating a supportive, non-judgmental space. I work with clients to help them feel more in control of their feelings and choices, building resilience and confidence in their everyday lives.
I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients, especially children and teens, process and heal from traumatic experiences in a safe and supportive way. I focus on building a trusting relationship and helping clients feel understood while guiding them to develop coping skills, manage strong emotions, and change unhelpful thought patterns.
I provide family therapy to help families strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and better understand one another. I focus on creating a safe space where each family member feels heard and respected. Together, we work on building healthier patterns, improving relationships, and supporting each other through challenges in a way that fits your family’s unique needs.
I provide grief therapy to support individuals and families as they navigate loss. I focus on creating a compassionate, understanding space where clients can express their feelings, remember their loved ones, and find ways to cope with the changes in their lives. Together, we work on honoring your experiences, building resilience, and finding a path forward that feels meaningful and manageable.
I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By providing clear, practical information in a supportive way, I help clients make sense of their experiences, learn coping strategies, and feel more in control of their mental health. My goal is to empower clients with knowledge that helps them make positive changes in their everyday lives.
