Hi, I'm a licensed clinical social worker based in Georgia. I've received my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am licensed both in Virginia and Georgia. I am am able to provide virtual therapeutic services to adults and children who reside in Virginia and Georgia. I have 10+ years in the mental health field primarily focusing my work with adults and child survivors of complex trauma, such as domestic and sexual violence and a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc. utilizing an eclectic approach offering a variety of treatment modalities. I am also LGBTQIA+ affirming.
In our first session together we will work towards building rapport, establishing the therapeutic relationship, identifying your therapeutic needs/goals, and gathering your mental health history to gain a better understanding of how best to serve you.
With my experience in working in the mental health field I'm able to help clients gain insight, awareness, and deeper understanding into who they are and their experiences and the way they shape the way they think, feel, and act. I am able to utilize innovative interventions to aid clients in improving their mental and emotional health and overall quality of life.
I enjoy supporting children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship or family challenges, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, or past difficult experiences, and who are looking for a safe, supportive space to process, heal, grow, feel seen, and understood. Many of my clients are working toward building healthier coping skills, improving communication and relationships, increasing self-confidence, processing difficult emotions or experiences, and creating more balance and stability in their lives.

Trenice is a wonderful person. She has a kind, open-minded, and comforting personality. She sees events and situations I confide in her about in a light in which I can't or haven't thought of yet, which is beyond helpful. We've had very deep conversations where I've cried the whole session to light sessions where I just needed to talk about the monotonies of life and she was wonderful throughout each. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, understanding therapist.
