I am an LMHC and have been in private practice since May 2009. Aside from my extensive education and experience in mental health, I have almost 40 years in the business world. My years of education and life experience have afforded me the wisdom and knowledge to help you understand the mental distress you are experiencing. Every person has meaning and purpose in this life, I look forward to the opportunity to help you find yours:) Blessings!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I strive to provide my clients Comfort, Care, Christianity and Compassion. After a thorough intake of your history and data, we will collaborate to create the most effective treatment plan possible. Pain and suffering are real. But so are Relief and Recovery! The sooner we understand and treat the hurt, the sooner we can move towards healing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I'm looking forward to meeting you, hearing your story, and helping you find healing. Many times during our lives, we are faced with struggles that are often personal and profound. These struggles manifest as mental and physical illness and disrupt every aspect of our lives, robbing us of our hopes and dreams! I help you understand 'why' you don't feel well, then give you the tools, techniques, and resources that provide you an optimal counseling experience!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has been very effective with most of my clients. This approach involves retraining the brain's problematic thought process, which in turn, retrains a persons problematic behavior. As the client implements the new behavior, the brain is taught a new "effective, healthy" thought process. As this Cognitive Behavior repetition continues, the "Desired Outcome" should start to take over.
