I am licensed in New York with 17 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I have extensive experience with brain injury. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I work primarily in cognitive behavioral therapy. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
We will work in two ways. We will talk about your experiences and what makes you, you. We’ll also explore what you are hoping to gain from our time together.
I’m an empathic caregiver. I try to use humor to make the work a little easier, knowing that it can feel heavy. I’m real. I’m a parent, a partner and a daughter. I’m bringing those real world experiences to bare on our work together.
Cognitive behavioral therapy is a type of psychotherapy that can help people identify and challenge negative thinking patterns, and learn to respond to problems in a more effective way. This work helps relieve the weight of problems in the present. It helps clients develop coping skills and problem solving strategies for future concerns.
