Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW based in Indiana. I attended the University of New England for my Masters of Social Work. I have experience in group therapy, intensive outpatient therapy, and individual. I have spent most of my post master education in animal assisted therapy and trauma. enjoy working with those who have experienced anxiety, trauma, grief, shame, and imposter syndrome.
In our first session, we will spend sometime getting to know each other before discussing areas you would like to improve. We will then develop a tailored plan to help you meet those goals and measure your progress along the way.
Having worked with anxiety, trauma, and caregiver burnout for the last seven years I have developed a system for helping you gain skills to apply to your daily life to reduce the impact of anxiety, trauma, and burnout.
CBT is my most used treatment style. I love challenging our negative self talk.
TF-CBT training was my step in treating trauma. I have lead groups and individual sessions focused on managing the impacts of trauma.
I have attended mutiple trainings on Polyvagal Theory. I find the skills useful in many scenarios from anxiety to managing daily stressors
I have worked with EAP clients for many years. I find Solution Focused Therapy to be beneficial for those needing to focus on a specific event or period of their life.
I find Brainspotting is a great way to help gain insight when you are feeling stuck. Brainspotting is client lead allows you to focus on experiences in a new way without traditional talk therapy.
