Hello! All persons and abilities are welcomed here! I am so glad you have taken the first steps in bettering your mental health and taking time to prioritize yourself. I know therapy can be scary - but I am here to help you feel safe. I am a master's level, licensed clinical social worker in the state of Indiana. I have eight years of experience as a behavioral clinician specializing in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with co-occurring mental health diagnoses and their family unit. Within this experience, I have also helped people overcome trauma and parenting challenges.
In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and walking through some of the challenges you are currently facing. Together, we will discuss your expectations for therapy and create a plan for upcoming sessions.
Over my years as a professional, I have created an environment for people I support to be themselves, feel safe, and take action toward mental health. I have an innate ability to see people beyond their diagnosis and meet you with a sense of acknowledgment for your struggles.
Psychoeducation therapy combines talk therapy with education. Knowledge is power and I believe when you have a better understanding of what is going on in your mind and body you are better able to overcome the obstacles you are facing.

During our time together, we will walk on a journey of your life and find peace within to heal from your past.
You are here because you are a survivor. Strengths-based therapy is used to talk through your experiences and focuses on your resilience and strengths. We all have a story and it is easy to drown in those struggles. Together, we will find your strengths and use them to overcome your biggest obstacles.
Family life can be complicated. In therapy, we can work to restore some peace and structure to your family unit. Family therapy is utilized to bring back harmony and balance within the family system. It may target issues such as changes in family structure, communication difficulties, or parenting challenges.
