Hi there, I’m Jessica. Do you feel unappreciated, unseen, and unheard? Do you often put the needs of others before your own because that’s “the way things have always been”? Are you questioning your purpose in life, feeling lost, as if life is happening to you? Are you struggling to make time for yourself, feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or weighed down by cultural and generational expectations? I see you. I specialize in helping sensitive, ambitious women—particularly those who identify as Black, Indigenous, or Women of Color—break cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, and inherited burdens to find balance and avoid burnout. Together, we’ll identify and untangle deeply rooted, systemic patterns that keep you feeling stuck. My goal is to help you live freely, not just survive within societal limitations. We’ll use an integrative, person-centered, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive approach that honors your lived experiences and empowers you to reclaim your narrative. My work embraces a decolonized approach to therapy. This means we will question and deconstruct traditional mental health models that may not reflect your lived experiences. Instead, we’ll prioritize cultural context, community care, and dismantling generational expectations that often undermine BIWOC. I integrate mindfulness, spirituality, and faith as resources for resilience, helping you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, or the complexities of single parenting—especially with a child with unique abilities—I provide a safe, soulful space for healing and growth. Finding a therapist who understands and aligns with your values can be challenging. The fact that you’re here now means you’re in the right place. This journey is yours—let’s walk it together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be relaxed and focused on getting to know each other, as well as reviewing the intake and beginning to set 2-3 specific goals. This process may extend over the first few sessions as we establish a comfortable, collaborative environment. Your sessions are a safe, judgment-free space where you’re encouraged to let go, flow, and be yourself. Come as you are; let’s explore your needs and cultivate deeper self-understanding together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am deeply committed to supporting BIWOC who navigate depression, anxiety, daily stress, self-esteem challenges, and family or relational conflicts rooted in diverse cultural systems. I also work with single mothers, especially those parenting children with unique abilities, providing a space that respects the complexity of their experiences. My strength lies in amplifying and uplifting the voices of those who feel unseen, helping you develop self-confidence, trust from within, and the tools needed to thrive in a life that honors your heritage and vision.
