Hi, I'm Jenny! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist, here to help you navigate whatever life throws your way—because let’s be honest, life can be quite the adventure! I was born in Italy, so I come with an extra dash of warmth, and a love for pasta (it’s in my DNA). I moved to the U.S. in 2008, and along the way, I've learned the beauty of blending cultures, which makes me appreciate each client's unique story and background even more. My style? Think of it as a warm cup of coffee with a friend; comfortable, collaborative, and here to bring out the best in you. I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can find hope, tap into your strengths, and truly thrive. And if anxiety’s been a tricky guest in your life, I’m a Certified Anxiety Informed Professional, so we’ll tackle it together with understanding and tools that really work. I also use approaches like EMDR, hypnotherapy, CBT, and DBT to help you manage emotions, heal from past experiences, and build resilience. I look forward to being part of your journey—let’s make this a time of growth, discovery, and yes, even a bit of laughter!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we’ll begin to get to know each other and build a sense of trust. We’ll talk about what brings you here, explore your goals, and touch on any previous experiences with mental health support. I’ll also share more about how I work and answer any questions you may have to help you feel comfortable and at ease. This session is really about understanding your unique story and creating a strong foundation for the work we’ll do together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I bring empathy, adaptability, and a strong commitment to helping each client feel seen and supported. Growing up in Italy and experiencing different cultures has deepened my appreciation for each person’s unique story, allowing me to connect with a warm, open, and understanding approach. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can fully be yourself. My goal is to meet you where you are, helping you find meaningful growth and healing in a way that feels right for you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience with CBT has equipped me to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I regularly use CBT to support clients in managing depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges by building practical, actionable skills.

EMDR

I have completed full training in EMDR, allowing me to guide clients through the process of reprocessing traumatic memories. This modality has been especially effective in helping clients reduce distress associated with past trauma and build resilience.

Hypnotherapy

With comprehensive training recently obtained in hypnotherapy, I use this modality to help clients access subconscious thoughts and address issues like stress and anxiety. It’s a powerful tool for facilitating deep relaxation and self-exploration.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize DBT techniques, such as mindfulness and emotion regulation, to help clients enhance their coping skills. This approach has been particularly beneficial for clients dealing with intense emotions, enabling them to navigate difficult situations with greater stability and awareness.
