Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) based in Oklahoma with a Master’s degree from Capella University and five years of experience in the field. I specialize in helping clients navigate challenges related to stress, depression, anxiety, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, and parenting issues. My compassionate and collaborative approach empowers clients to find practical solutions, healing, and personal growth. I strive to create a safe, supportive space for everyone to explore their concerns and reach their goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and confidential environment where we begin building trust and rapport. We’ll go over the reasons that brought you to therapy, any specific goals or concerns you have, and a bit about your personal history and current life situation. I’ll explain my approach to therapy and answer any questions you may have to help you feel comfortable with the process. Together, we’ll set the groundwork for our work ahead, ensuring that our sessions align with your needs and objectives.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to create a safe and empathetic space for clients to express themselves, my trauma-informed approach, and my commitment to working collaboratively with clients toward their goals. I am highly attuned to each person’s unique needs and adapt my methods to best support their healing and growth. My diverse background in various therapeutic approaches allows me to offer flexibility whether a client requires structured interventions like CBT or a more exploratory, insight-driven approach like psychodynamic therapy. My compassion, patience, and dedication to each client’s journey set me apart in fostering lasting change.

My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

My approach emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can process trauma at their own pace, fostering empowerment, choice, and trust.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)

In my practice, I use PCIT to guide parents in building strong, positive connections with their children while also managing challenging behaviors.

Psychoanalytic

I use psychoanalytic techniques to help clients gain insight into underlying issues, such as childhood experiences or internalized beliefs, that may contribute to present-day challenges.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic techniques to help clients identify and understand these deeper influences, bringing greater awareness to recurring patterns in their lives.
