LPC, 3 years of experience
Are you a teen, college-aged student, or young adult feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not like yourself lately? Are you a parent looking for compassionate, effective support for your young child? As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), and Ph.D. psychologist with specialized training from the University of Connecticut, I help people navigate anxiety, stress, and life transitions with clarity and confidence. Together, we will build practical, skills-based tools tailored to your unique needs so you can feel more grounded, capable, and in control. In our work, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you are heard, understood, and supported. My passion is helping clients uncover their inner strengths, improve coping skills, and create lasting change that supports emotional well-being and resilience. If you are ready to take the next step toward a calmer, more fulfilling life—for yourself or your child—I am here to help you get started. In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what led you to seek therapy. We will talk about your current experiences, the challenges you are facing, and what you would like to change or feel differently about. You can share at whatever pace feels comfortable in a calm, nonjudgmental space. Together, we will begin shaping a clear, collaborative plan that supports your goals and helps you feel more confident, empowered, and in control.
One of my core strengths is helping clients learn practical tools they can start using right away. My approach is active, collaborative, and tailored so that every strategy fits your unique needs, personality, and daily life. I focus on being an action-oriented therapist, emphasizing clear steps and real-world skills you can put into practice between sessions.
I am here to support clients in a caring and understanding space that feels safe and comfortable. Since I work exclusively through telehealth, we can connect conveniently from wherever you feel most at ease—right at home. I especially enjoy working with motivated children, teens, and young adults who are ready to face challenges, strengthen communication, and build skills that last. In our work together, you will find a warm, encouraging environment to grow your confidence, practice new tools, and create meaningful, long-term change. If you are eager to learn, adapt, and thrive, I am here to support you every step of the way. A Caring Note: Your safety and well-being are very important to me. If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, it is really important to seek in-person support where you can get immediate and comprehensive care. While I am glad to support many concerns through telehealth, I do not provide telehealth treatment for self-harm or suicidality. I gently encourage you to connect with local resources or providers who can offer the kind of in-person care and support you deserve during these challenging times. You are not alone, and help is available.
I use a mix of different therapy methods that fit your unique needs. Together, we will find the best tools with what you are working on in therapy.
I also enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. CBT is an action-oriented therapy.
