Hello, My name is Lauren Harris. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for more than a decade. I work with individuals going through life transitions, relationship stresses as well as parenting challenges. I use a strengths based approach, meeting you where you're at and building up on the skills you already have. I will also help teach you new techniques to help you reach your goals. I also utilize psycho education in my practice, which is a fancy way of saying, I will help you understand what you're feeling and why in a way that's easy to understand.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect a warm, judgement free, down to earth person who truly wants to help you reach your goals. I will ask questions to understand more fully your background and your unique way of thinking. I will not pressure you to talk about something you aren't ready to and I will not judge you for anything you may feel shame about. I want you to feel safe with me.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider is that I am a seasoned therapist and have met with thousands of people. Many have "graduated" from therapy and have written to me with thanks and gratitude years later. I am able to hold peoples big emotions and allow them to explore those feelings in a safe and productive way.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best suited to counsel people who are experiencing life transitions, wanting to work on relationship issues, self esteem challenges, create healthier boundaries in their life and generally want to feel happier and more fulfilled in their daily lives.
