Hello! I know that choosing to seek therapy is hard and I’m glad you’re here. I’ve been working in the mental health field for over twenty years. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief & loss, addiction, chronic illness, as well as relationship issues. During my sessions, I provide empathy, support, validation and am a space of unconditional acceptance to help you to be YOU - only better.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will review what has happened to bring you to therapy. We will then review together areas where you would like to see changes and improvements.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is that I offer hope, and am always helping you to look at the positives in life. We will work together to help you to live a more successful and fulfilling life. Therapy Together, you-only better.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is used to help you see the link between your thoughts, your feelings and your behaviors. I will give homework after each session to help you to make changes in how you are feeling.

Grief Therapy

If you are suffering from loss, I use grief therapy to help you to begin to process how you will be able to go on without that special someone in your life. I can be very hard to adjust, but working together I will help you to take each day.

Humanistic

Humanistic therapy is a wonderful tool. My goal is to help you to develop a strong sense of self, look at how you are feeling in your interactions, help you to find meaning in your daily life, as well as to help you to focus on your strengths.

Narrative

Narrative therapy is a great tool to use for those who are depressed as well as suffering from grief.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is important to help you to understand the "why." I can help you to understand relationship dynamics, addiction issues, as well as the importance of structure in parenting. This is a therapeutic technique where we explore and help you to see why you or others might use a particular behavior.
