2025 is here! Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or searching for a way to rediscover balance and peace in your life? Let’s work together to create the change you deserve. I’m here to walk alongside you. You’ll find a safe space with me where your voice is heard, your feelings are honored, and your experiences are understood. 26 years experience working in the field of mental health. My specialties include treating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, parenting issues, caregiver fatigue, and coping with chronic illness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll take time to explore your history and experiences, focusing on the challenges that brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll identify your goals for treatment. After that, each session will be dedicated to making progress toward those goals, combined with compassionate and supportive talk therapy to help you feel heard and understood.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Empathy, active listening, adaptability, humor and the ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is highly beneficial for clients because it focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. Let's work together on the "3 C's" strategy about our thoughts - Catch it, Check it, Change it! A big PLUS is that CBT is a goal-oriented approach that is effective in treating a wide range of issues. And the best part is that CBT is typically effective in a short time which makes it a practical and efficient therapy option for many busy individuals.

Supportive

So much of what we do as caring, compassionate Therapists is to provide a Supportive counseling environment. This form of counseling focuses on validating clients' experiences, enhancing their self-esteem, and helping them develop coping strategies. It can be particularly helpful during times of stress, grief, or transition, as it offers emotional support and guidance to navigate through difficult situations.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapy is a therapeutic approach which involves paying attention to the present moment in a non-judgmental and accepting way. By developing this awareness, clients can learn to respond to situations in a more intentional manner, rather than reacting automatically. Mindfulness-based therapy has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
