Hello! I work with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, overthinking, and intrusive or repetitive thoughts that feel difficult to control. Many clients struggle with chronic worry, rumination, emotional overwhelm, and difficulty managing strong emotional responses. These patterns are often linked to childhood experiences involving emotional inconsistency, criticism, neglect, or family dysfunction. I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience treating anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, and long-standing emotional and behavioral patterns that impact daily functioning. A number of my clients are high-functioning externally but internally feel overwhelmed, self-critical, and emotionally exhausted. My approach is structured, supportive, and skills-based. I use cognitive behavioral strategies and emotional regulation techniques to help reduce symptoms and build more effective coping patterns. I am licensed in Florida, Texas, and Colorado, and provide a nonjudgmental space to work through both current symptoms and longer-term patterns rooted in early life experiences. If you are looking for support with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or persistent thought patterns, therapy can help you begin to shift these patterns in a meaningful way.
In our first session, we’ll talk through what’s bringing you to therapy, the challenges you’re experiencing, and what you’d like to change or improve. I’ll also ask questions to better understand your history and current concerns so we can begin identifying patterns and priorities. From there, we’ll start outlining a collaborative plan that’s tailored to your needs and goals.
My communication style is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental, creating a space where clients can feel safe being honest about what they’re experiencing. With over 20 years of clinical experience as a licensed therapist, I bring a strong foundation in evidence-based approaches and a deep understanding of emotional patterns, family dynamics, and behavior change. My focus is on helping clients gain insight, reduce symptoms, and build practical skills that support lasting improvement.
My ideal clients are adults experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, overthinking, stress, and intrusive or repetitive thoughts that feel difficult to manage. Many struggle with chronic worry, rumination, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, and difficulty regulating strong emotions in daily life. They may also be dealing with stress related to relationships, work, or ongoing life demands. I work best with clients who want to understand these patterns, reduce symptoms, and build practical skills for managing thoughts, emotions, and stress more effectively. Many are seeking both insight and structured, skills-based support for meaningful change. Therapy is a good fit for individuals open to exploring both current challenges and underlying patterns while actively working toward improved emotional regulation, coping skills, and overall stability.

Eclectic
My treatment approach is eclectic, integrating cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and motivational techniques based on each client’s needs and goals. With over 20 years of clinical experience, I work with individuals navigating challenges such as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma-related symptoms, and self-esteem concerns. Rather than using a single method, I draw from a range of evidence-based tools to best fit each client’s presenting concerns and stage of change. This flexible, individualized approach helps support symptom reduction, increased insight, and the development of practical coping skills that promote lasting improvement and growth.

I was seeking a therapist with experience. I chose Kim as my therapist because her picture looked inviting and gave me a sense of comfort and trust. We share the same nationality, which I felt would help her better understand my background and experiences. I was also drawn to her professional experience and wanted a female perspective in my therapy journey. Overall, I really liked her profile and felt she would be a great fit for me. I am happy to say, it appears that I made the right choice.

My first session with Kim went great. She listened and I could sense her understanding while I spoke. The most interesting part of our session was that she validated my choices with sound responses and had questions that made me think about the why’s behind those decisions.
