Licensed to practice in Georgia. Specializes in Depression, LGBTQ, Self Esteem and 8 more.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Master's in psychology from the University of West Georgia in 2016. I offer compassionate support to explore your struggles in a safe, non-judgmental space. I have practiced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rogerian Therapy, and trauma-informed care with youth, adults, and families to manage anxiety, depression, and conflict, to understand themselves better, and to work toward peace of mind.
I’m here to support you—without judgment, with understanding, and with care. In our first session, we'll start with introductions and then dive into the challenges you're facing. This will help us create a tailored plan to work through in follow-up sessions. You deserve a space where you feel heard, seen, and supported. Together, we’ll work through your difficulties and find ways to bring more peace and clarity into your life.
Having worked with adolescents, adults, and families for the past eight years, I have developed the ability to work collaboratively with clients to address specific needs by listening deeply, identifying the issue, and creating a plan that leads to measurable progress.
Do you feel overwhelmed by life’s demands—perhaps you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, feeling stuck, unsure of how to move forward, or struggling with a sense of self. Are you working with relationship difficulties, work-life balance, or simply not feeling like you’re fulfilling your full potential? Many of us feel like we’re just going through the motions, without ever feeling "at peace" or "present." I love working with adolescents, adults, and families, to manage anxiety, depression, negative self-perception, and relational conflict. I help others to improve internal dialogue and interpersonal communication by focusing on their needs and teaching them to express their desires and maintain personal boundaries.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice for eight years in educational, individual, family, and community settings. It has helped clients identify the connection between their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Together, we will identify those connections and develop solid interventions to help decrease anxiety, depression, and negative self-image, which would allow you to lead a more peaceful life.
Couples Counseling
I have worked with couples struggling with infidelity, negative communication, miscommunication, and just plain boredom. I teach active listening and non-violent communication to decrease animosity, increase empathy, and improve each person's sense of peace in their relationship.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-centered therapy is the foundation of all the work I do with clients. Each human with whom I come in contact knows themselves more than I ever will. You are the expert in your life and I will keep you company as we work through some of life's difficulties.

Kini is awesome! She listens and gives positive feedback. Non judgmental and makes sure you’re in a good place before the session is over. She makes you think outside the box which is not always easy to do on your own. I would/ will recommend her

Kini's a great soul- extremely observant, thoughtful, and intelligent. Our session had a relaxed pace and there was genuine conversation, laughs, and curiosity. Thanks for lighting up my evening, and baking my brain some thought food :)

Kini Roland gave me a safe space to put it all on the table from the beginning. She seems to have a warm soul that genuinely wants to listen and help. My sessions went so well. I thought that I was fine to move on by myself but here I am today to schedule an appointment. Lol Definitely looking forward to my next session. I’m sure she can work with me through this.
