LPC, 16 years of experience
Hello, I’m Ryan Judice, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I provide telehealth counseling exclusively, making it easier for you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. I work with a wide range of clients, including veterans, families, and individuals managing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. What you can expect in our sessions is a safe, supportive environment where you can feel heard and understood. We will work together to build coping skills, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and create practical tools you can use in everyday life. I believe in meeting you where you are, respecting your pace, and tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, rebuilding after loss, or striving for greater balance in your life, my goal is to help you move toward growth, resilience, and lasting change.
Our first session is all about getting to know you. I’ll start by learning more about what brought you to counseling, your goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll also ask some background questions so I can better understand your life experiences and current challenges. This is a safe, judgment-free space where you can share openly at your own pace. There’s no pressure to “have it all figured out” — the goal is simply to start building trust and understanding. Together, we’ll discuss what approaches might be most helpful for you and create a plan that fits your needs. By the end of the first session, you’ll have a clearer picture of how we’ll work together, and you’ll leave with some initial tools or strategies you can begin using right away. My hope is that you’ll feel supported, understood, and encouraged about taking this step toward positive change.
