About me

Up worrying again at 2AM, going through the motions or missing out on the full experience of joy in life's big moments? Let's change that. Hi there, I'm Hanna, I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist focused on work with preteens/teens, adults, and couples. I help clients untangle old patterns, build self trust and create lives that feel calmer and more intentional. My approach is warm, compassionate, humorous, and real.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is all about getting to know you and what matters most. We’ll explore your challenges and goals while I bring warmth, understanding, and a little humor- because therapy can be serious, but it doesn’t always have to feel heavy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I meet clients where they are, with warmth, understanding, and zero judgment. Helping them make sense of thoughts and feelings that keep them stuck, including intrusive or uncomfortable ones. I specialize in the treatment of OCD utilizing ERP and ACT. My strength is turning insight into action: giving tools that actually fit your life so you can feel calmer, more in control, and more connected to yourself and those you care about.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You’re the one everyone relies on; calm, capable, and always holding things together, but your mind rarely feels quiet. You are chronically keeping the peace around you while the peace within you diminishes. You may carry the unseen mental load of parenting and raising a family. You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, or get hit with intrusive thoughts that show up out of nowhere and leave you uneasy and ruminating. My ideal clients are high-functioning, caring people who do it all for everyone else but feel disconnected from themselves. I work with preteens/teens and adults navigating anxiety, overthinking, and OCD to find relief, balance, and real peace of mind. I’m especially passionate about supporting first responders, veterans, and their families who carry more than most people ever see.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is a modality that I use frequently alongside with ERP when treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; or when treating some anxiety and adjustment disorders.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is a treatment I specialize in for treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. ERP is the gold standard treatment for OCD.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT can be utilized for a variety of diagnosis as it aims at developing skills to manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and tolerate distress. I frequently incorporate DBT skills in order to work towards reduction of symptoms and overall improvement in functioning.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT can be incredibly helpful for anxiety, depression, major life transitions and stress as it helps us identify unhelpful thinking patterns and change them. I utilize CBT in a variety of ways in order to support clients as it provides a structured and goal-oriented framework for our work.

Humanistic

With every client, I maintain a Humanistic approach as each client is an expert in their own life. I welcome each client with acceptance and without judgement.
