Hello there, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience in therapy serving many populations. My journey to becoming a therapist began with a strong and natural wonder about human behavior. This curiosity fuels the desire to understand why people think, feel, and act the way they do. Ultimately, I feel a passion for helping others navigate their psychological challenges and it would be my pleasure to work with you.
Much of the primary focus of the first session will be building rapport, understanding your reasons for seeking therapy, and gathering information about your background and current situation, leading you to therapy. Any questions you have about the therapy process will be answered at that time. We'll then collaborate on how best to move forward.
My approach is tailored to each client's unique needs, cultivating a safe and supportive space for growth and healing. Through evidence-based intervention, modality and personalized support, my clients are empowered to reclaim their lives and build fulfilling relationships. My communication style, incorporating motivational interviewing, aims to help clients understand the gap between their desired outcomes and their actual behaviors, ultimately stimulating a stronger commitment to change.
Have you ever felt discouraged, disappointed, and discontented? I endeavor to establish an environment where you will feel heard, seen, and supported in your journey to being restored, refreshed, and renewed. If this resonates with you then congratulations, you've taken the first steps to healing and improving your quality of life. Allow me to assist you in making every step you take count.
