Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Georgia. I received my Masters from Georgia State University (Go Panthers!) and have been practicing for 6 years. I help young adults and adolescents struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, and life transitions become the best versions of themselves. I have a particular passion for working with clients who have experienced trauma- both past and present.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing and what you would like to get out of therapy. I believe having a good connection with your therapist is one of the best indicators that positive change can occur. Without trust, communication, and vulnerability no relationship can thrive.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My goal is for every client to walk into a session with me knowing they can pick up the hard stuff during our time together and leave it there until next time. Not all sessions are heavy and scary. I like to incorporate humor, music, and art to connect.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I like to utilize CBT as a more in-depth talk therapy that helps clients process various situations/ experiences, their reactions to said experiences, and how that shapes their current life/ actions/ reactions.

Trauma Informed Care

I utilize trauma informed care in my everyday practice as well as my personal life. Approaching therapy from a trauma-informed lens helps to meet clients where they are without judgement or unrealistic expectations.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I find so much value in the Internal Family Systems model for working with clients who have experienced trauma.
