About me

I’m a dual-licensed therapist, holding credentials as both an LMHC and LCAC, and I’ve been working in the mental health and addiction field for over 10 years. For the past 5 years, I’ve been actively providing therapy, supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward positive change. I take a compassionate, client-centered approach, helping people feel heard, understood, and empowered on their journey to healing and growth. I understand seeking therapy can be scary, but it's some of the best decisions we can make to increase the joy in our lives. We don't have to struggle alone, and I would be honored to help you navigate this journey together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. This is a time for you to share your reason for wanting therapy and for us to explore your goals, while also making sure we’re the right fit to work together. I prioritize creating a safe, open space where you feel heard and understood, and we’ll begin laying the groundwork for a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, respected, and ready to take the next steps toward growth and healing. Our first session will explore that comfort level together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In my time as a clinician, I have put a great emphasis on the ability to connect with my clients through all walks of life struggling with a multitude of issues so they don't feel alone. The ability to gain trust and build rapport is so important to the therapeutic relationship because I truly believe in the power of connection. We've all been through challenges and to be able to give someone a chance to just breathe and feel safe is the best part of my job as a clinician. I operate with a natural empathetic regard and humanistic approach . I'm client centered and truly believe in the individualized approach for clients that bring me into their lives as their therapist.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m here for individuals who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives and want support in navigating both mental health and addiction challenges. If you’re someone who values a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, I’m here to walk alongside you. I specialize in helping clients gain clarity, build coping skills, and strengthen connections—with themselves and others—so they can move forward with confidence and hope. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in care, designed to meet you where you are and support the growth you want to see. I want to be able to offer support to those looking for a listening ear in a space where they feel comforted.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions work together. We’ll explore what might be keeping you stuck and practice new ways of thinking and coping that feel more supportive. My goal is to give you tools you can use every day to feel more confident and move forward in the direction you want

Christian Counseling

In my practice, I offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to bring their faith into the healing process. Together, we explore challenges through a spiritual lens, drawing on biblical wisdom, prayer, and faith-based encouragement alongside practical tools for growth. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where your faith can be a source of strength, hope, and guidance on your journey.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

In my practice, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients understand and express their emotions in healthy ways. Together, we explore patterns in relationships and emotional responses that may be causing stress or disconnection. EFT helps you build stronger connections with yourself and others by creating a safe space to process feelings and strengthen trust and communication. My goal is to support you in experiencing deeper understanding, connection, and emotional well-being.

Motivational Interviewing

In my practice, I use Motivational Interviewing to help you explore your goals and find your own motivation for change. Together, we’ll talk through what matters most to you and uncover the strengths you already have to move forward. This approach is supportive and non-judgmental, helping you feel empowered to make choices that align with your values. My goal is to guide you toward meaningful growth at your own pace.

Trauma Informed Care

I use Trauma-Informed Care to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we’ll look at how past trauma may be affecting your life today and work toward healing and resilience. My goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
