About me

The most important element in healing is finding a space where you can explore and process the past, present, and future. Creating that safe space with you is my number one goal! I practice from a person-centered, strengths-based orientation, and the quality of our therapeutic relationship is paramount in my work. We will focus not only on your challenges but on the personal strengths that contribute to your natural resiliency. I am empathic, non-judgmental, calming, and have a deep interest in your life and worldview.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

At our first session, we will complete a psychosocial assessment and you will have the opportunity to explore your presenting concerns and what bring you to therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am empathic, non-judgmental, calming, and have a deep interest in your life and worldview. I have extensive experience working with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, work/career challenges, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and coming out/exploring LGBTQ+ identities.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am happy to work with clients who have a variety of clinical concerns. I hope that through our work, you will gain understanding of your challenges, strengths, and core values. We will not only utilize tools to manage distress but work on a deeper level to understand what drives problematic thoughts and behaviors.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

In my practice, I use humanistic therapy to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences authentically. I focus on the whole person, emphasizing personal growth, self-awareness, and the innate capacity for healing and change. By fostering a collaborative and empathetic relationship, I support clients in reconnecting with their inner values and building a more meaningful life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and problematic behaviors. Together, we develop practical strategies and coping skills to create more balanced thinking and promote positive change. CBT is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that empowers clients to take an active role in their healing process.
