Over the course of a decade as a counselor, I've helped clients overcome anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other conditions that prevented them from reaching their potential and enjoying life. I will offer you a space to not only heal from what brings you to therapy but also to develop the confidence to overcome roadblocks in your life on your own. I offer a warm, welcoming environment and use techniques that are backed by research to help you achieve your goals in therapy.
In the first session, I will be collecting a thorough background on what you are struggling with, personal history, family history, and related topics so I can know how to best help you. Together we will develop goals for therapy and discuss what you would like to see happen in order for therapy to be successful.
I use a variety of cognitive behavioral techniques, and I often take into account a variety of factors including the client's habits that contribute to the problem.
My greatest stengths include the variety of experiences I've had as a therapist and my extensive training especially in the areas of anxiety disorders.
