Hi! I'm Moses. I specialize in helping people overcome trauma, anxiety & panic attacks. I work with individuals, couples, and families. INDIVIDUALS will receive nonjudgmental empathetic listening as I accompany them through their path of healing. You do not have to walk this painful journey alone. I will be with you every step of the way. I make sure to give every member of the FAMILY a voice in the session because everyone's experience matters. I am a father myself and I understand well the struggles that a family can go through. Let me be a part of your family's journey as you get to a better place together. I coach COUPLES and help them get through their most difficult problems. For me, neither person in a relationship is the problem. Instead, the relationship is the problem. We can always work to improve the relationship and build a stronger emotional bond that will bring you closer as a couple.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a tailored plan to help you reach your therapy goals through follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am experienced in helping individuals who face challenges due to trauma, anxiety, and/or panic attacks. I am nonjudgmental and very understanding. I have a passion to help clients find hope and healing.

My treatment methods

EMDR

Since 2018, I have been trained in EMDR, which is a therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. EMDR therapy has been extensively researched and is recommended for trauma treatment.

Couples Counseling

As an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I use emotionally focused couples therapy (EFCT) to help couples build a stronger emotional bond that draws them closer to each other as they navigate through relational issues. In couples therapy, neither person is the problem, instead the way they interact with each other is the problem. Learning a new way to maneuver in the relationship helps couples to learn a new dance of love.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The mind can play tricks on us. Too often we find ourselves playing the WHAT IF game that usually causes us to feel overwhelmed and distressed. I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CPT) approach to help people evaluate their thoughts, challenge them, and override them with more realistic thinking that leads to a more positive mindset. (EMDR and CBT complement each other very well).
