Hi, my name is Faith. Congratulations on taking the first step. Are you struggling or feeling overwhelmed with school, work, family or relationships? Do you have difficulty with anxiety or depression? I am here to help you to manage life's difficulties and improve your mental health. I am passionate about encouraging, supporting, and empowering clients to take the necessary steps to improve their mental health and overall well-being. Together we can make necessary changes to improve your overall well-being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we'll start with brief introductions, and then I will gather pertinent information, as well as, leaving time for you to share what you feel is important that I know. We will discuss specific challenges that you're facing. I will also share what you can expect from me as your therapist. Afterwards, we will work together to create a tailored plan to help you reach your individual goals.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the concept that your thoughts, feelings, and actions are interlinked and that negative thinking and feelings can cause a negative cycle. Motivational interviewing (MI) is a counseling technique to help clients find the motivation they need to improve their lives. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a technique that helps clients make necessary changes by finding solutions rather than focusing on problems. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is used to help individuals who have difficulty managing and regulating their emotions. DBT helps individuals to manage their behaviors, emotions and thoughts better. Christian counseling is a type of therapy that integrates traditional talk therapy with Christian belief to help manage mental health issues and everyday struggles encountered by Christians.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are encouraging, supporting, and empowering clients to make the necessary changes needed to improve their mental health and overall well-being. I excel at creating an accepting and nonjudgmental environment. I will become one of your biggest fans.
