Hello. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I am originally from Connecticut, but I now reside in Florida. I have been practicing for over 15 years working with individuals and couples. I understand that we are always learning and growing. I walk alongside you and guide you when necessary to help you meet your goals and become a better version of yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During your first session I will ask you a number of questions. My goal is to really understand who you are and what you are hoping to achieve from therapy. Once I have a clear picture of what you are looking for, I can devise a plan to ensure that you can meet your goals. We walk through this journey together and at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My years of experience in the field have given me the opportunity to work with all kinds of people. I still get excited to meet new clients and watch them make progress. It is my greatest reward in this work.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I work with clients to assist them in solving problems by understanding your thoughts and feelings and learning to face challenges. I help you learn or improve skills and tools to help you overcome your fears and alter your behavior.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I understand that each person is unique and has their own set of values. I use a judgment free approach to try to see the world through your eyes. Although I may ask some challenging questions, I first create a safe, nurturing environment for my clients because it is extremely important to feel safe in the therapeutic relationship.

Humanistic

I focus on your potential and not your diagnosis or a set of symptoms. I want to honor who you are authentically are and guide you in a supportive manner so that you become the best version of yourself.
