My name is Tish and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia. I want to first thank you for taking this step in your journey to wellness. Seeking help though therapy is one of the bravest acts of courage you will experience. Many times as we move through life we may feel isolated and alone. You are not alone. I would love to walk the journey with you. Life is too heavy for you to carry and sort through all its challenges on your own. My goal is to encourage and empower my clients to be the best version of themselves.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I have been working the social work field with individuals and families for the last 20 years and recetly made the decison to become fully licnesed. I find that active listening and helping my clients find the power within is one of my greatest strengths. Compassion and geniue support is what my clients can expect.
DBT is a form of therapy that helps with the core principles of mindfulness, intepersonal effectiveness, distress tolearnce and emotion regulation. These principles are key to understanding how to reach your optimal mental wellness. I have conducted several groups and training using DBT therapy.
