I am here to confide in with a non judgemental attitude. I would love to have the opportunity to help you find yourself and become the best version of yourself. I am experienced in using CBT and DBT therapy techniques to help you address your struggles with anxiety and depression. In our first session we will be gathering and confirming basic information and then discussing goals and improvement you wish to work towards based on your present needs.
I am experienced in helping others with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationships.
I would love to help adults 18 years and older identify their barriers to strong physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, and develop healthy coping skills to address these issues.
I have extensive experience in CBT to help clients identify triggers to their anxiety and depression, educate them on cognitive distortions and positive behavior change.
Emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relationships are addressed using this therapeutic method.

Melissa is an experience therapist with a very fresh outlook. By this I mean that she has a great understanding of the journey of life and can find ways to knit your struggles into a larger narrative. It’s an incredible gift that not many therapists have.

During our first session, she gave me homework as well as a referral for the doctor who can give me medication, only after hearing that all coping methods do not work and I’ve been dealing with it for a really long time, I’m very appreciative she doesn’t push medication but doesn’t make me feel guilty either. We talked over everything I wanted and she showed genuine empathy for me as if we knew already each other. I’m very excited for our next appointment. I feel very grateful for her/this app.
