Hi! I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) based in Minnesota. I received my Masters from the University of St. Thomas and have been practicing for 4 years and have worked in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. My passion is working with adolescents and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, past trauma, school stress, bullying and life transitions. Outside of work I enjoy spending time traveling, hiking, running, enjoying a good cup of coffee at a local coffee shop and reading a good book with my cat Zion.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Making the first step to attend therapy can be scary! My goal is to make it less anxiety provoking and meet you where you are at. Our first session will be getting to hear more about your story and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. There will be space for you to ask questions and get comfortable, we will move at the pace your are comfortable with.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider is to help every client feel heard and validated in their experiences. Having worked with such a variety of clients, challenges and experiences, I have developed a strong ability to work alongside of you to manage and address these challenges.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Utilizing CBT in my practice had helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Strength-Based

Do you notice your self being your biggest critic and constantly getting stuck in negative thinking tendencies? Utilizing a strength based approach, I strive to help clients identify and use their strengths to achieve their goals and feel empowered.
