I'm a seasoned mental health therapist passionate about supporting kids, teens, and adults in living their best lives. My goal is to provide a cozy, accepting space where we can explore genuine moments of happiness, personal growth, and self-discovery. By taking a holistic and individual-focused approach, I address concerns about relationships, life changes, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and depression. I take great joy in helping clients find clarity and inner peace. On a personal level, I adore nature, art, travel, and dancing. Let's connect – I'd love to learn more about you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We'll typically start by exploring your history, what brings you to therapy, and how I can best support you. These early sessions often create the groundwork for creating a collaborative treatment plan and identifying themes that will be addressed in future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with diverse populations in the past, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use MBT to teach people how to observe the present moment with a non-judgmental and accepting attitude. It encourages individuals to observe their thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and surroundings without getting caught up in them or reacting impulsively. In my experience people this framework allows people to access their seat of power and make better decisions for themselves.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to support patients in identifying unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that negatively impact their quality of life and then work to foster more helpful patterns. This is a practical, goal-oriented approach to therapy focused on helping clients develop the skills they need to cope with life's challenges and improve their overall well-being.

Humanistic

I use humanistic therapy as a compassionate and person-centered approach to therapy that emphasizes the client's inherent worth, dignity, and capacity for growth. It's a collaborative and empowering approach that cultivates greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and fulfillment in their lives.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy as a skill-based approach to helping individuals manage their emotions, improve their relationships, and create an enjoyable life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have found Person-centered therapy to be effective for a wide range of mental health concerns and is particularly well-suited for individuals seeking a supportive and empowering therapeutic relationship.
