Hi everyone, I am a Therapist with 8 years of experience and two Masters from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's from UC Berkeley. I have an absolute passion for working with people who deal with chronic pain/chronic health conditions, people who are experiencing issues in their sex life or their relationship or exploring alternative types of romantic relationships (however please note, I do not do couples counseling, only individual counseling regarding a relationship), and those suffering from over-worrying and anxiety. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and playing towards your strengths. Being a Therapist and knowing my career focus is to help others feel less alone, more validated supported and genuinely heard brings me happiness. I am here to support you and look forward to helping you reach your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will start with introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing and your goals for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength as a therapist is my ability to help someone feel comfortable in discussing personal matters that maybe make them feel vulnerable. Oh and I have been told often that I have a very bubbly friendly personality that aids in making them feel welcomed and comfortable.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Strength Based treatment focuses on identifying and utilizing the skills you are already very skilled at and may not recognize in order to create change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT looks at how you interpret events and situations that occur and how that interpretation can affect your emotions. We work together to see what other interpretations are possible that would result in a less stressful emotional response.
