I am a bilingual therapist, and I am fluent in Spanish and English. As a therapist my primary focus is building a relationship with my clients. It’s also important for me to provide safe space for you. I want my clients to feel heard, listen, and valued. As a therapist, I have a very direct and empathic approach. I believe that clients are experts of their own lives. I am here to provide the tools and support to help you reach your goals. I want clients to feel empowered and feel like they can manage what they are going through. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I graduated with my master's in counseling with a multicultural emphasis at the University of Colorado Denver. I have worked in a variety of setting, equipping me with the tools to support through various life experiences.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect our first session to be focused on building a relationship. In this session, I will share about myself and also get to know you. The goal is to build trust and comfort with each other. Sometimes in our first sessions, I also like to incorporate an art activity to get to know you. We will also discuss the things you would like to work on in therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked as a therapist for 3 years with over 5+ years’ experience in the mental health field. I feel my own journey in therapy has helped me be a better therapist and how I show up for my clients. In therapy I like to incorporate cultural aspects because I believe that it has an impact in our lives and how we view the world.
