I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and for the past 7 years , I've been helping individuals like you work through life's challenges and find greater peace and well-being. I understand how overwhelming things can get-- whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or navigating big life changes-- I'm here to offer support. As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish. My goal is to create a safe non-judgmental space where you can openly share your thoughts and emotions. I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which is especially effective for addressing trauma. I also use techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. Whether you're looking for help with managing stress, improving relationships, or overcoming painful experiences, I'm here to listen and guide you on your journey toward healing and personal growth. Let's work together to help you feel more empowered and ready to move forward with confidence.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental environment where you will feel heard and supported. It will be an opportunity to get to know one another, help me better understand what brings you into therapy, and begin to collaboratively work together to set goals around your unique needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I pride myself in providing a warm, authentic, compassionate, and understanding space to all I have the privilege of working with. I have an awareness that I am not the expert in your life, you are. Using my knowledge and training I will help you get to the place where you truly feel and believe that.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Using ACT, we'll work together to help you deal with difficult thoughts and feelings, not by trying to get rid of them, but by changing how you respond to them. We'll focus on four main parts: talking about what matters, learning mindfulness skills, working on acceptance, changing your relationship with your thoughts, and taking steps toward what you value.

Attachment-based

Using an Attached-based lens we focus on taking a deeper look at your early relationships (parents and/or caregivers) and how they might still impact your current feelings and behaviors. We also all explore how past experiences and see how they shape your view of yourself, others, and your relationships today. The goal is that by looking at these attachment patterns, we can help you build healthier relationships and develop more positive ways of connecting with others. While also helping you feel more secure and confident in your relationships.
