I work especially well with individuals who value self-awareness, want to understand their emotional patterns, and are open to learning practical skills that support growth. My style is collaborative and grounded in the belief that you already hold many of the abilities you need to thrive—we simply uncover and strengthen them together. Between sessions, I love offering reflective prompts, small action steps, or “homework” because change tends to happen fastest when insight is paired with intentional practice. I provide concrete tools for coping, emotional regulation, and resilience that you can add to your personal toolkit and continue using long after our work together. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and joyful.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a therapist, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients who are struggling with various mental health issues. CBT is a type of talk therapy that aims to change negative thought patterns, beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors that are causing distress. In therapy, we’ll work together to identify the specific issues that you’re facing and how they’re impacting your life. Then, we’ll develop coping strategies that are tailored to your unique needs and goals. The goal of this therapy is to help you create a life that feels fulfilling and meaningful. We’ll work together to change your thoughts and beliefs about the issues you’re facing, and learn to manage behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that are causing distress.

I’ve met with Devon several times over the last five months. After having cancelled a couple different appointments, I knew I needed to do something and stick with it. Devon has provided coping skills and habit stacking practices to build on to get out of my depression. She’s listened and been kind when I needed it most. Even with a lot of hard and life-changing challenges coming my way this fall, what she’s taught me will aide in making sure I end 2025 in a much better place than I started!
