I have a vast amount of experience working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, post-partum depression, and other mental health concerns. I pride myself in providing a safe place to explore my client's current situation, thoughts and emotions and give them the room to access their own wisdom. I focus on highlighting my clients' strengths and making the hard stuff a little easier. I have worked in a variety of settings from hospitals to criminal justice settings and lastly outpatient clinics. The experience I gained while working in these settings is what has helped me develop the skills needed to be a successful therapist. With all of this being said, it would be my pleasure to work with you and travel down this journey together.
In our first session together we will focus on building a therapeutic alliance. We will further dive into the specific challenges you are facing at this time in your life and work together on creating a tailored plan that will help us reach your goals.
I believe I am most successful in providing my clients with a toolbox of techniques and coping mechanisms that will assist them in being able to live a life that they are happy with, as well as finding inner peace.
I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to put in the work and focus on bettering themselves and their situations. My clients are typically eager to improve their quality of life but need assistance in gaining the tools to do so. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed or anxious.
