Naturally, you are meant to grow into your ideal self: self-assured and content. Sometimes, that growth gets blocked. Maybe it’s a past trauma or fear of failure and the unknown. Let’s explore this so we can identify the block and remove it so you can become your best self, the version of you that you were always meant to be.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions. Then we will identify your therapy goal. I will work with you to make this a SMART (Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic Timely) goal. This way, we have a focus for our therapy and we can both track the progress toward this goal.
I help clients heal from the past. This may include expanding empathy and understanding of the past or learning to forgive yourself.
I use a number of evidence-based therapies tailored to the Ct. I utilize EMDR, DBT, CBT, ACT, positive psychology, and person-centered. For instance, if a Ct is wanting to process trauma, I would use EMDR. If we are working on anxiety or depression, I might use CBT and some DBT techniques, including mindfulness and meditation.
