New to Grow
As a trauma-informed therapist, I help clients heal, grow, and move from simply surviving to truly thriving. Over the years, I’ve worked with children, teens, adults, veterans, trauma survivors, healthcare workers, and many others, and I know how important it is to feel safe, heard, and understood. My approach draws from EMDR, IFS, DBT, and CBT, and I tailor every session to fit your unique needs and goals so you can create meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, supportive space for you to share what feels most important right now. I’ll ask questions about your goals, history, and what you’d like to get out of therapy, but there’s no pressure — you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll start building a plan that feels comfortable and tailored to you, so you leave with a sense of direction and hope for what’s ahead.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I’m outgoing and open-minded, which helps me connect easily and meet people where they are. I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of populations, and I love helping each client feel seen, understood, and empowered.
I’m best positioned to work with clients who feel weighed down by anxiety, trauma, or self-doubt and are ready for meaningful change. Many of my clients are motivated and self-aware — they’ve tried coping on their own but realize that support can help them move forward. In our work together, we focus on healing old wounds, challenging negative beliefs, and creating healthier ways of living and connecting. My clients value having a safe, nonjudgmental space to be honest and supported as they work toward goals like reducing anxiety, building confidence, improving relationships, and finding balance.
EMDR is a powerful approach to healing from painful or overwhelming experiences. I’ve been using it for over 4 years, and I offer it virtually so you can do this work in a safe, comfortable space that’s accessible to you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you recognize unhelpful patterns in your thoughts and behaviors and replace them with healthier ones. I’ve been using CBT for several years to support clients in managing anxiety, depression, and everyday stress, and it works well both in person and through Telehealth.
Attachment-based therapy focuses on how our early relationships shape the way we connect with ourselves and others today. I use this approach to help clients build healthier, more secure connections, whether that’s improving self-esteem, strengthening relationships, or healing from past wounds. It’s a supportive and collaborative process that can be done just as effectively through Telehealth.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based approach that helps you manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress in healthier ways. I integrate DBT into sessions to give clients practical tools they can use right away, whether we’re working on mindfulness, communication, or emotion regulation. These strategies translate well into telehealth, making them accessible and easy to practice in your daily life.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself — like the parts that feel anxious, critical, or protective — and work with them in a compassionate way. This approach supports healing by helping you feel more balanced, connected, and at peace within yourself. IFS works beautifully in Telehealth, allowing us to explore and strengthen your inner system in a safe, supportive space.
