My name is Andrea Pinnow. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of professional experience. I graduated with a Master of Social Work Degree from Indiana University In Indianapolis. I have experience helping clients with fears, stress, anxiety, family conflicts, as well as coping with grief, loss, and depression. In addition, I have worked with many persons facing the challenges of chronic pain and chronic illness. I am also a Christian social worker and welcome clients who would like to explore and work through their situation with a Christ-centered approach.
In our first session, I will ask various questions to get to know you better. We will also begin to explore goals that you would like to work on and develop a plan to reach those goals. Depending on your circumstances, the following interventions may be applied: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT); Solution Focused Brief Therapy; Motivational Interviewing; or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Ultimately, I want you to gain insight and learn skills which will help you feel better and cope better.
I provide a non-judgemental and confidential space for clients to share their experiences and feelings. I am willing to adapt the different therapeutic approaches depending on the client's specific needs and preferences.
I am a certified practitioner in Pain Reprocessing Therapy. I also have an interest in helping clients overcome perfectionism, people-pleasing, and lack of self-compassion.

Andrea was warm and calm and helped me immediately feel at ease. She listened without interruption and I already feel a bit better after our conversation. Looking forward to another one.
