LMHC, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m a seasoned therapist with extensive experience working with children, teens, and parents in schools, community mental health, and addiction treatment settings. My approach is shaped by years of supporting individuals, families, and groups through life’s challenges. I specialize in helping young people understand themselves, identify their needs, and build practical skills for success—with a strong focus on addiction prevention and emotional well-being.
I like to tell new patients to think of the first session as a job interview—only you’re the one doing the interviewing. The goal is for you (and/or your child) to get a sense of whether I’m the right fit. Do I feel like someone who can be helpful? Do you feel comfortable with me? While I’ll ask questions to learn more about you and your goals, you’re really in the driver’s seat—using that time to get a clear understanding of who I am, how I work, and whether this feels like the right match for you.
After years of working with children, teens, and adults, I’ve found my greatest strength lies in meeting people exactly where they are. I focus on building a relationship grounded in trust and collaboration, so together we can work toward the goals that matter most to you.
I specialize in supporting tweens and teens through the ups and downs of this stage of life, including school and home stress, shifting friendships and relationships, and challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, and depression. My goal is to equip every young person and their family with the tools and support they need to feel healthier, happier, and more confident in facing whatever comes their way. Ideal for students who need that little extra support away from school-based supports.
My approach to counseling is shaped by years of experience supporting individuals, families, and groups in schools, as well as in mental health and addiction treatment settings. I specialize in helping young people understand themselves, identify their needs, and build practical skills for success—with a particular focus on addiction prevention.
