My name is Nikole Bower, LCSW and I’m glad you’re here. Navigating through mental health can be difficult and intimidating. I’m here to provide tools that will allow you to develop skills to overcome whatever life brings your way. If you’re experiencing a life transition, motherhood/parenthood, loss, or life stressors, let’s overcome it together. Having experience in many of these aspects of life, allows me to provide a safe environment. You can overcome whatever life throws at you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, to build rapport. We will get a general overview of what is causing stressors in your life, and your expectations while engaging in therapy. Once we have established goals we will create a treatment plan that will best fit your life and schedule sessions to reach your identified goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with a wide range of populations over the past 10 years has allowed me to build experience and knowledge in all aspects of life. Having hands on experience with a wide range of mental health diagnoses I am able to utilize skills in difficult situations and manage difficult conversations. Providing a therapeutic and nonjudgmental approach has easily been developed, and being a Mother myself, I provide an empathetic approach.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am a licensed LCSW in WI and FL. I focus on utilizing individualized Cognitive Behavioral based treatments. This approach allows us to identify, negative thoughts, guilt, and irritability through open-ended questioning, thought challenging, and building self-awareness. Once we identify these factors, we can work together to understand what actions can be taken to regain control of our lives.
