I, Tiera Smith, LMSW-C, CLC (#6801114180), specialize in providing therapy services to individuals experiencing maternal and women’s mental health challenges, including but not limited to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, pregnancy and postpartum-related concerns, and women's mental and emotional well-being. Also, I specialize in children, youth, and family mental and behavioral health and wellness. I am currently a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan, doctoral student, and certified lactation counselor. I am committed to supporting clients as they navigate the complexities and transitions of life. I empower them to embrace their evolving identities and nurture their mental health and wellness so that not only do they thrive, but everything attached to them can do so as well.
In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions and learn more about who you are and what brought you to therapy. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to connect with clients through empathy and compassion, creating a safe and culturally informed space where they feel truly understood. I integrate multiple therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to the unique needs of my clients while focusing on their strengths to empower their personal growth. My commitment to holistic wellness and adaptability ensures that clients receive the support they need to thrive in all areas of their lives.
