Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Indiana. I received my Master's Degree from Indiana University, my Bachelor's Degree from Loyola University-Chicago and have been practicing for 13 years. For 12 years I worked at a Community Mental Health Center where I provided individual and group therapy to adults on an outpatient basis, along with crisis management. I also provided clinical supervision to a team of social workers and mental health counselors. I primarily work with adults who are struggling with stress management, anxiety, depression and past trauma.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I consider myself a down to earth person who has a passion for helping others. I'm empathetic and love to learn so I'm trained in several evidence based practices, including CBT, EMDR and Motivational Interviewing. I have a lot experience providing individual and group therapy to adults experiencing mental health symptoms. I believe in taking a collaborative approach because you are your own expert.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I was trained in CBT at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia. I use CBT to assist clients in developing healthier thought patterns to improve overall mood and functioning. I believe CBT can help clients identify core values that negatively impact relationships and how clients view themselves and others.

EMDR

I was trained in EMDR at EMDR Consultants, LLC. I use EMDR to help clients overcome symptoms related to trauma.
