When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! I am a licensed clinical social worker and enjoy helping others find that resolution to whatever stressors they are facing. I take a positive outlook approach and set my clients up for success! We do everything in “baby” steps because we want to succeed. I don’t allow my clients to set unrealistic goals and strive to help them find success in even the smallest things in life!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I want a chance to get to know you and why you’ve reached out for therapy. I want you build rapport and allow you to get to know me a little bit too! We will identify some areas you’d like to focus on first so that I can create a treatment plan and set you up for success!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having personal experience in so many of the areas that I focus on with clients is one of my greatest strengths. When you can walk the walk and not just talk the talk, it can make a difference in how one approaches and treats a client. I’m able to develop a treatment plan that will set you up for success!

Primary focus is changing negative thinking and thought patterns into more positive thoughts.

Learning to be present, in the moment. I’ve used this treatment modality for years and use it along with other treatment methods.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Focusing on present and future circumstances and goals rather than past experiences.

Strength-Based

Through Strength-Bsed therapy focus it put on goal setting, a strength assessment, using environmental resources, hope inducing relationships, learning how to make meaningful choices, and exploring alternative methods for various situations.
