Hello, I'm Jonah. Do you feel overwhelmed by life and its demands? Are you struggling in personal relationships? Do you need help saying how you feel and think? I assist individuals, couples and families in identifying past and present experiences that may be causing issues in relationships, struggles within themselves and overwhelming feelings. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in Mental Health. Using a whole self approach, including mind, body and spirit, together we can identify what is not working and bring you back into balance within yourself and your relationships. Whether you're dealing with feeling overwhelmed, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary, but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will include getting to know one another and prioritizing issues that we will be setting goals to address either during the first session or soon after.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Our sessions may include, but are not limited to, these evidence-based treatment methods: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychotherapy and Psychoeducation.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am strong in the qualities of empathy, patience, active listening, communication and advocacy. This means I will listen to your story and gently guide you to give details while also asking questions to clarify meaning. I realize that it takes time to get the full story and that sometimes it is difficult to tell some parts of the story. We will work together to learn the thoughts and feelings about the experiences you have had and how they have affected you and possibly the lives of your loved ones. I give homework at times to ensure that you are understanding your part of the work involved in therapy.
