Our first session will include getting to know one another and prioritizing issues that we will be setting goals to address either during the first session or soon after.
Our sessions may include, but are not limited to, these evidence-based treatment methods: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychotherapy and Psychoeducation.

This means I will listen to your story and gently guide you to give details while also asking questions to clarify meaning. I realize that it takes time to get the full story and that sometimes it is difficult to tell some parts of the story. We will work together to learn the thoughts and feelings about the experiences you have had and how they have affected you and possibly the lives of your loved ones. I give homework at times to ensure that you are understanding your part of the work involved in therapy.
