I only provide telehealth. I prefer to see individuals who have conditions that do not require in person treatment. Adjustment issues, life transitions, grief, mood or anxiety without active suicidality. Active substance use and thought disorders are exclusionary for this form of practice for me. I am knowledgeable in these areas and believe the best care is in-person which I don't offer now.
I take the time to get to know you . I am going to ask about many aspects of your life. I want a clear picture of not only who you are but what you are expecting to get from our time. In return, I will help create a plan with you for how you will meet your goals.
I am a dynamic provider with many years of experience to draw from in order to help you. My private practice is just one aspect of what I do. I am also knowledge in some of the state's resources if there's needs I can't address during therapy time. I will also be honest with you if I am not certain this is the most effective way to proceed.
I prefer to see individuals who are at least 14 years old. Minors must have at least one actively involved parent. Adults who have life circumstances that don't require frequent crisis intervention or are actively using narcotics or alcohol.
I draw from a few different modalities engaging from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, family relations, developmental psychology, attachment theory, and mindfulness.
