I am a dedicated and experienced therapist with over 10 years in the mental health field, working with diverse populations, including veterans, incarcerated juveniles, cancer patients, battered women, and adults with dual diagnoses. My approach is client-centered and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to support individuals in navigating life’s challenges. I specialize in teaching coping skills, couples counseling, and incorporating spirituality into therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, I strive to create a safe space where clients can build resilience, foster healing, and achieve meaningful personal growth
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first therapy session with me, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where they can share their concerns at their own pace. I begin by explaining the therapeutic process, confidentiality, and what they can expect from our work together. We will discuss their reasons for seeking therapy, personal history, and any goals they have for treatment. I take a collaborative and client-centered approach, ensuring they feel heard and understood while also exploring what strategies or interventions may best support their needs. This session is an opportunity for us to build rapport, establish trust, and create a foundation for meaningful progress in therapy. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and share any preferences or concerns about the therapeutic process, ensuring they feel comfortable and empowered from the very start.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I feel my biggest strengths are helping clients cope with life changes/transitions, spirituality, emotional distress, self esteem issues, career difficulties, relationship issues, and anger management.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and those coping with life changes
Eclectic
As a therapist, I use an eclectic approach because it allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, recognizing that no single therapeutic model is universally effective. By integrating techniques from modalities such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches, I can adapt my interventions based on the client’s presenting concerns, preferences, and progress. This flexibility ensures that therapy remains client-centered, evidence-based, and responsive to individual differences. An eclectic approach also allows me to shift strategies when needed, fostering greater engagement and effectiveness in helping clients achieve their goals. Ultimately, this method supports a more holistic and personalized therapeutic experience, empowering clients to make meaningful and lasting changes.

Grace is an absolute God send. She is so rich with wisdom and willing to open up about her personal experience that it really allows us to relate and connect on a much deeper level. She is a wonderful human that makes me feel seen and helps me rationalize my thoughts & unpleasant experiences so I can grow and appreciate how much everything is happening for me. For all of us!!
