Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a strength based, solution-oriented approach. Rather than exploring the past, I focus is on what is desired in the future. Together, we will determine the steps to take you from where you are to where you want to go. This approach draws on your unique strengths as we explore new possibilities. Progress tends to occur quickly, and thus, therapy is often short term.

Laura is very warm, caring and empowering. She is not the least bit judgmental which helps me to become unstuck - not mired in guilt or shame. She is helping me build self esteem. She’s very solution oriented. She helps me feel positive about my future.

First, I wanted to check all the above and it would only let me do 2. First for me she made me feel she cared about me and my issues and truly wanted to help. She seems to be very well educated and i loved the ideas she had for me reaching my goal. The only drawback is because she is so good it sometimes will take a little longer to get an appointment.
